Part of a company's advertising strategy depends mostly on the company's persona or profile. Ever imagine how even children, by looking at an image of a product or company can tell you who they are or what they are selling? That's the power of logo,banner or graphic designs. Imagine again if no images were used in an advertise, it would not have reached the probably millions of viewers customers.
Designing a logo, banner or graphic requires research and brainstorming between the client and the designer. Some important points they would actually take up includes the product/service of the client, client's competitor, target market and the price of the product/service.
Gathering these information, the designer would then come with a most suitable image/graphic to represent the data, all in a logo/banner design. The logo or banner will be studied by peers to determine the quality and changes will then be recommended and implemented accordingly.
The whole process will seem a long time for us but to graphic and logo designers, it would take just a few hours as they are highly trained and creative. Looking at a logo, one can really depict some information from it. Let take a supermarket logo for example. Most supermarkets carry logos with their name and often then not a 'shopping cart' image. With an instance, one looking at it will draw the idea of shopping, lots and lots of groceries to be loaded into the shopping cart, a huge supermarket to wheel the cart around and finally complete groceries items to shop for.
Thus, no matter what business you are in, going online or not, you would surely consider having your shop advertised in just one logo or banner. Professionally designed, logos and banners are key instruments in the search engine optimization or your online shop's online marketing strategy. Search engines likes crawling on websites that comes with images and designs.
